Russell Wilson has a partially torn hamstring and his status for Week 8 against the Jaguars is very much in doubt, according to Ian Rapoport. (NFL.com)
Fantasy Impact:
The fact that Wilson tried desperately to play in Week 7 against the Jets shows how tough he is, but the Broncos' medical staff thankfully protected him from himself. Given that next week's game against the Jaguars is in London and the Broncos have a bye in Week 9, Rapoport suggests that Wilson may miss Week 8, too. Wilson has not done much for fantasy this year and has been dealing with a lat strain, as well, so fantasy managers in single-quarterback formats can feel free to move on.
