James Conner left Sunday's game against the Raiders with an ankle injury. However, it is not considered “serious,” and Conner should not miss an extended period of time. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
After the injury, Conner remained on the sidelines in his uniform instead of going to the locker room, which could be a positive sign. Before leaving the game, "The Terminator" ran for just 25 yards on seven attempts. Conner has gotten off to a slow start this season but should find his rhythm soon. Through two games this season, he has just 51 yards and a touchdown while averaging just three yards per carry. If Conner does miss next week's game against the Rams, fifth-year backup Darrel Williams will get the starting nod.
