Andrew Whitworth announces retirement

Four-time Pro-Bowl and Super-Bowl champion left tackle Andrew Whitworth, the 2021 Walter Payton Man of the Year, announced his retirement.

There weren’t more universally liked and respected players than the 40-year-old who made NFL history by becoming the oldest OT ever to play.

Whitworth, the oldest offensive tackle to ever play, was one of the most respected and liked players in the league. He won the 2021 Walter Payton Man of the Year award, was a two-time first-team All Pro, four-time Pro Bowl participant, and, for 40 days, he was the oldest player in the NFL.
