Elijah Mitchell flashes upside in return to action

San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell carried the ball 21 times for 119 yards to go along with two catches (on two targets) for 11 yards and a touchdown in a 23-7 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Mitchell was seeing his first action since Week 13 after dealing with a concussion and knee injury and received a full workload. He looked fresh on Sunday, averaging 5.7 yards a carry and finding the end zone on an eight-yard toss from Trey Lance. He didn't see a goal-line carry but was still able to produce a solid fantasy day and show why he's the top dog in the 49ers' backfield. It's worth noting that backup running back Jeff Wilson Jr. didn't receive a carry on Sunday. Mitchell should be viewed as a low-end RB1 in next week's divisional tilt against the Los Angeles Rams.
