Deebo Samuel (groin) returned to practice on Friday and his status for Sunday's game against the Bengals is questionable. (Matt Maiocco on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Samuel went down in Week 12 with a groin injury. Although he said it wasn't serious, it kept him out of Week 13's matchup. Jeremy Fowler with ESPN said the "49ers have some optimism" that he plays this weekend. Hopefully, Samuel can avoid the dreaded "game-time decision" label. A late afternoon kickoff can leave few options to pivot to. If Samuel plays, he can be relied on as a WR1. If he's out, expect the offense to funnel through George Kittle again as he's coming off his first career multi-touchdown game and playing red-hot lately.
