Per sources, Colts QB Carson Wentz (foot) could be back on the earlier side of the five to 12 week recovery timeline after undergoing surgery on his foot this past week. (Jay Glazer on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Based on this information, it’s still possible Wentz is able to start Week 1 since that would put his recovery at about 5-6 weeks post-op. Either way, it sounds like he’ll be back sooner rather than later, which is great news for the entire offense. Don’t downgrade guys like Jonathan Taylor and Michael Pittman Jr. too much heading into the 2021 season.
