David DeCastro released by Steelers

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network has reported that Steelers have released OL David DeCastro . (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

The #Steelers have released guard David DeCastro, a surprise. They had Trai Turner in for a visit last week. In the DeCastro release, they save $8.75M in cap space.

Fantasy Impact:

This is somewhat a surprising move by the Steelers. The offensive line was an issue last season and releasing a former pro-bowler might not be the best idea. Nonetheless, DeCastro will likely be signed sooner rather than later. Steelers have been linked to FA OL Trai Turner as well.
