According to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, Jaguars TE Tim Tebow is more likely to be utilized like Taysom Hill in New Orleans than he is as a prototypical tight end. (Dianna Russini on ‘Get Up!’)
Fantasy Impact:
“There are people in camp right now who strongly believe the reason why Urban Meyer brought Tim Tebow in is not to play tight end, but actually to use him in that utility role, that Taysom Hill role that we see Sean Payton use in New Orleans," Russini said. If this is truly the case, it’s likely Tebow has a better chance at making the 53-man roster than any of us want to believe. If this happens, it could negatively impact the fantasy value of a few players including Trevor Lawrence and James Robinson, especially if Tebow comes in at the goal-line. Keep an eye on this development throughout training camp heading into the 2021 season.
