Julian Edelman released by Patriots

The New England Patriots terminated Julian Edelman's contract Monday with a failed physical designation, according to Ian Rapoport. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Rapoport adds, Edelman has a decision to make on his future, and that, he imagines, it will come soon. As previously reported, it's doubtful Edelman's able to play the entire 2021 season, so, at this point, retirement is likely.
