Bears to sign controversial defensive lineman Ray McDonald

Chicago Bears to sign Ray McDonald per multiple sources. The Bears are looking everywhere to improve their horrid defense. McDonald was released by San Fransisco last year when he was arrested for sexual assault; his second arrest in less than six months. This is clearly a push by Vic Fangio who coached McDonald in San Fransisco. (NBC Sports)
Fantasy Impact:
Ray McDonald is not an elite player, but he is a very talented player. The Bears are obviously looking at the risk and think the possible reward outweighs any public relations issues. McDonald will be an upgrade over guys like Ego Ferguson. If McDonald does not have any more off the field issues, this could prove to be a great signing if the money is right.
