The Bengals had first priority on waiver claims and used it to pick up the athletic linebacker, Austin Calitro. (Field Yates on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Calitro has only been in the league since 2017 but will suit up for his sixth team in 2020. After signing with the Jets as an undrafted free agent, a few practice squad stints, and a full 2018 season for the Seahawks, Calitro had a breakout 2019 season where he started the final four games for the Jaguars and recorded 32 tackles and one sack over that span. While he's still a pretty raw player, his athleticism has been noted by a lot of scouts and he may work his way into the starting lineup by Week 1 if he's able to wrangle the duties away from Logan Wilson.
