Michael Warren II signs with the Eagles

Fantasy Impact:
The Eagles didn’t select a running back in this year’s Draft, but they pick up Michael Warren II as an undrafted free agent. He’s a big, physical runner who had a great past two seasons at Cincinnati. In 2018 and 2019, he combined for 2,594 yards and 33 TDs on the ground. The power back finds himself in a unique situation in Philadelphia of being able to contribute immediately in goal-line or short-yardage situations as a bruiser. Miles Sanders and Boston Scott don’t offer the same physicality that Warren II brings to the table, and for that reason, he’s got some immediate appeal in TD-dependent fantasy leagues. Keep an eye on Warren II this off-season to see what kind of role he can carve out in the Eagles high-powered offense.
