The Detroit Lions have selected defensive lineman Julian Okwara with the No. 67 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. (NFL Draft on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
An edge prospect who was putting together a nice string of first round tape prior to fracturing his left fibula, Julian Okwara will join brother Romeo on the Lions defensive line. Okwara is a menacing left end prospect who shows good power and speed when battling offensive linemen. A high level athlete with good bend and burst, Okwara will truly become a force once his body continues to fill out. Okwara is a DE3 at best in redraft IDP leagues, but could enter the DE2 conversation by the end of the season. Okwara has DE2 upside in dynasty leagues.
