Eagles rookie quarterback Clayton Thorson struggled in Thursday's preseason loss to the New York Jets, completing 12 of 26 passes for 84 yards and an interception.
Fantasy Impact:
Thorson faces an uphill battled to crack the Philadelphia roster, especially in the wake of the Nate Sudfeld injury and subsequent Josh McCown signing. The Eagles are unlikely to place Sudfeld on injured reserve or carry four quarterbacks on their active roster, meaning that Thorson is probably going to be released soon. The team will likely attempt to sign Thorson to the practice squad if he passes through waivers unclaimed.
