Kevin Norwood in line for bigger role?

With Paul Richardson headed to the IR, fellow rookie WR Kevin Norwood is in line for a bigger role in the Seahawks passing game. "We’re excited to see [Norwood] play,†Pete Carroll said. “He’ll do a really good job, we totally trust that he knows what’s going on and can make the plays...we think he’s going to be a very effective player. We just haven’t seen a lot of him so that you would know that, but we’re OK about that. We’re going to definitely miss Paul, because he’s making a lot of big plays and tough catches in tough situations and stuff, so we’ll miss him. (The Evertett Herald)
Fantasy Impact:
While the fact that he wasn't particularly productive in college, or that great of an athlete compared to his cohort, when Kevin Norwood has been on the field, he's largely impressed. At this time I don't think anyone can say with any great confidence exactly what Norwood is, but he isn't the field stretching burner that Paul Richardson was. Norwood should be #3 on the Seattle WR pecking order behind Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse, but he is a thrifty option in daily formats due to his bottom-rung price tag.
