Foyesade Oluokun emerging as starting option
by Gary VanDyke | Jaguars Correspondent | Fri, Aug 24th 5:35pm EDT
The sixth-round rookie Foyesade Oluokun out of Yale has been officially noticed as a real challenger to Duke Riley for the starting weakside linebacker position for Atlanta. And with Deion Jones (strain) sitting out in Friday's contest versus Jacksonville, the winner for the starting position could be decided with this important third pre-season game. (thefalcoholic.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Foyesade Oluokun has played as solid as any sixth-round linebacker could versus Duke Riley's up and down performances over the last month. He is firmly on IDP owners radars and should be monitored to see if he can emerge as soon as this most important pre-season contest concludes or over the next couple of weeks. Reports out of Atlanta after the game should indicate who the likely weakside linebacker will be in week one.
