Travis Frederick getting shoulder checked out by specialist Wednesday

Dallas Cowboys center Travis Frederick missed the team’s walk-through practice Wednesday morning to go to Los Angeles to have his shoulder examined, head coach Jason Garrett said, via Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News. Frederick has dealt with stingers in recent practices. (ProFootballTalk)

The visit to the specialist is believed to be a precaution more than a concern that something more serious is going on with the stingers he has experienced in recent days. Frederick is the highest-paid center in the NFL, and losing him for any period of time would be a significant blow to the Dallas offense and the fantasy values of stars such as Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott.
