DeAndre Smelter signs with Jacksonville

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed veteran wide receiver DeAndre Smelter to a one-year contract. Smelter was originally drafted by the 49ers in the fourth-round of the 2015 NFL Draft but caught just one reception for the team in 2016. Smelter signed a reserve/future contract with Indianapolis last season but was waived in May. (Jaguars via Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
The Jaguars invited Smelter to try out during minicamp and signed him to the 90-man roster. Jacksonville's receiving corps is in a state of flux but has quite a bit of young talent, which will make it nearly impossible for Smelter to be anything more than a training camp body.
