Kellen Davis to be top tight end for Lions in Week 8

Newly signed tight end Kellen Davis will get the start this week and should be the primary tight end for the Detroit Lions against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8. (MLive.com )

Fantasy Impact:

The former Chicago Bears longtime tight end has never had more than 19 receptions in any given year during his career but today could be something out of the norm. With the Lions missing all three of their top tight ends as well Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush, they will have to get offensive firepower from somewhere. Look for Davis to get a fair amount of targets if he and Matthew Stafford get on the same page early.
