Kendell Beckwith relegated back to preseason form
by Gary VanDyke | Mon, Oct 23rd 11:33am EDT
With Kwon Alexander and Lavonte David completely healthy, Beckwith was inserted back to the strongside linebacker position and recorded a three solo tackle performance. He added 1 assist.
Fantasy Impact:
The writing was on the wall as David was active in Week 6 and Alexander reportedly on the mend and ready for Week 7. As well as Beckwith showed in place of both David and Alexander fantasy owners should have been aware that Beckwith's chances at high volume games were about to end. The strongside linebacker just doesn't have the snap opportunities in most defensive schemes. If fantasy owners did not take advantage of the situation and sell high before this week the odds are they will only benefit at the level they drafted the rookie at going forward. To note, he was undrafted this past summer in most leagues.
