Cofield likely to return in Week 11

Redskins' NT Barry Cofield has been rehabbing his right ankle sprain ever since suffering the injury in Week 1 at Houston on Sept. 7. Cofield will not be able to return to practice in six weeks from the date he was placed on the injured reserve "designated to return" list, and he can't play in a game until eight weeks after it. His first week of eligibility is Week 10, the team's bye, so he's eyeing Week 11's matchup against Tampa Bay as his return game. Cofield was not seen wearing a cast or a walking boot and is considered to be on schedule with his recovery. (Washington Times)
Fantasy Impact:
This banged-up Redskins' defense needs his skill up front. Cofield has had a penchant for clogging running lanes during his career, and while the team's rushing defense is still sound, they could be even better with Cofield around. However, when Cofield gets back he has little to no fantasy value. His value to his real team is tough to replace though.
