Danny Amendola exits game with head injury Thursday night

Danny Amendola exited Thursday's game against the Chiefs with a head injury and did not return. He is currently in the league's concussion protocol and is questionable for next week's matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Before leaving the game, he had caught six of his seven targets for 100 yards.
Fantasy Impact:
Amendola had emerged as Tom Brady's top target on Thursday night, so losing him in the second half was a huge blow both to the Patriots and to fantasy owners. He has a history of head injuries, so it will be important to monitor his status for next week to see if he gets held out. The good news is that, since New England's opener was on a Thursday night, he has a few extra days to pass through the concussion protocol.
