Jordan Reed optimistic that he will "return shortly"

Jordan Reed is continuing to test his injured right toe and after working with a new cleat and custom orthotic he stated that "it's feeling good" and that "I'll be out there shortly." A timeline has yet to be established but head coach Jay Gruden expects further evaluation on Reed to occur after the Redskins next preseason game. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
It is encouraging to hear that Reed has been working on routes and cutting with no adverse affects. While he is still on the PUP list with the sprained big toe until further evaluation, the odds of being cleared before the end of preseason are looking good. The concern for fantasy owners is that this continues to be a lingering issue even when he returns to "full health."
