Coples benched, as Babin gets shot

Jason Babin played twice as many snaps as starter Quinton Coples (31 to 15) on Saturday night, in the Jets' win over Cincinnati. New York head coach Rex Ryan was asked if it was a glimpse into how he plans to use them this season, and responded by saying: "It's definitely a sign of things to come." (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
This year could be make or break for Coples. He has shown flashes of brilliance in his two years as a Jet, but has lacked the consistency to live up to his first-round price tag. If Babin displaces Coples as a starter, then he will lose virtually all of his fantasy value. Regardless of whether or not Coples starts for the Jets, he should be a late-round flier at most.
