Chris Cook looking for a fresh start in San Francisco
by Clinton H. | Tue, Aug 5th 4:13am EDT
In front of the first 49ers’ crowd at Levi’s Stadium, Cook starred, stealing two interceptions. Should Cook realize his potential as a former second-round pick in 2010, he could challenge another big corner, Chris Culliver, for playing time. (SFGate)
Fantasy Impact:
Cook realizes this is his shot to redeem his career after playing four years in Minnesota where he started 29 games, but never recorded an interception. If he plays up to the expectations of where he was drafted (34th overall), he may have a shot to legitimately see the field quite often. That being said, his fantasy contribution will be more team oriented than being an IDP contributor.
