Matt McGloin wants chance to start in 2017

Matt McGloin told reporters that he hopes to have a chance to compete for a starting job in 2017. He's an impending free agent. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
McGloin won't get that shot in Oakland with Derek Carr entrenched as the starter, so he'll have to look elsewhere. One team that's been rumored has been the Texans. The connection is there, given the team's struggles and Bill O'Brien's history at Penn State with McGloin. Even if McGloin is signed and given a shot to start entering next season, he'll be a stretch as a viable fantasy QB entering the new year.
