Aaron Ripkowski converts goal-line carry in Packers' playoff win

by Brad Richter | Mon, Jan 9th 9:04am EST

Aaron Ripkowski took a handoff from the one-yard line late in the fourth quarter to score a touchdown and cap off the scoring in the Packers 38-13 victory over the Giants. Ripkowski finished with just two carries for one yard and hauled in both of his targets for 11 receiving yards.

Fantasy Impact:

Ripkowski had two short-yardage carries in the game. He was unable to convert the first one on a third-and-one in the third quarter but he found paydirt with a goal-line carry in the fourth. With the success Christine Michael had in the second half, Ripkowski only managed four touches in the game. Ripkowski has scored in each of the last two games but should only be considered as a longshot GPP play in DFS where you are hoping for a touchdown to pay off his low salary.
