The x-ray on Justin Turner's hand came back negative. Turner sounded quite optimistic after the game so this comes as no surprise.

Justin Turner was hit by a pitch on his hand tonight. Turner stayed in the game, homering in his next at-bat. After the game he mentioned that his hand is okay but he will have an x-ray.

Cody Bellinger was scratched earlier this week and is not in the lineup today due to “side discomfort”, however, Ken Gurnick reported today that it was due to a knot in Bellinger’s back. There were rumblings about the issue occurring after Bellinger’s viral Top Golf video. The reigning MVP is not in the lineup today but is working out in full.

Kenley Jansen made his second spring outing while continuing to look impressive with increased velocity. Jansen was sitting 93 MPH and touched 94 MPH. His velocity has dipped over the past two seasons which resulted in a meager 14.5% HR/FB.

Driveline Baseball is well-known for progressing the evolution for pitchers in regards to increase in velocity while building strength, resulting in a healthier season. Visiting Driveline could only be a positive component this upcoming season for the soon-to-be 32-year-old.
