Nathan Eovaldi had a successful bullpen session on Saturday in Detroit. The plan is for Eovaldi to play catch on Sunday, proceeding to another bullpen session on Wednesday. (Michael Silverman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Red Sox have stated they plan on using Eovaldi as their primary closer once fully healthy. Eovaldi flashed a ton of success out of the pen last season and very well could repeat that in the second half of this year. He is a must add at this point in all formats due to potential save opportunities. His ratios and strikeouts should be solid in short inning relief appearances as well.
