The Denver Nuggets (via trade with Utah) have selected Tyler Lydon, forward from Syracuse, with the 24th overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft.
Fantasy Impact
Lydon is a good outside shooter making 39.2% of his three-point shots for Syracuse. He will struggle to find minutes for the Nuggets during his rookie season and will only be useful to fantasy owners in the three-pointer category.
Tyler Lydon worked out for the Lakers on Sunday. This is his first known visit for Lydon, the former Syracuse sharpshooter, this offseason. Lydon stands at 6'10" and can stretch the floor and get hot from three-point land. The Lakers would be thrilled to grab him at No. 28 but he will have to be passed by a few possible teams like the Nets at No. 27.
Fantasy Impact
Stretch four's are wanted in the NBA and those teams drafting late in the first round such as the Nets, Lakers, and Jazz could all use Lydon. He's unlikely to make much of a fantasy impact in his rookie season but could be a sneaky player to add for three's.
