Salah Mejri will join the starting five for Dallas when they take on the Heat on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
This is just Mejri's second start of the campaign and most likely a matchup play to size up with Hassan Whiteside. Don't expect this to become a trend.
Salah Mejri re-signed with the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday just days after being released to make room for Zach Randolph. Mejri will be in line for backup center minutes down the stretch.
Fantasy Impact
Mejri is off the fantasy radar but could see some minutes down the stretch. Randolph is also off the fantasy radar and will look for a new home with a contender.
Salah Mejri scored four points to go with nine rebounds and two blocks in 19 minutes of game action on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Mejri hasn't played much this year but with the big move from the Mavs yesterday he got some solid minutes on Thursday. Whether he can parlay that into a real role in the Mavs rotation remains to be seen.
Salah Mejri (hamstring) will be out Friday against the Raptors and will not play Saturday against the Nets.
Fantasy Impact
Nerlens Noel and Maxi Kleber should see a few more minutes with Mejri out, however, neither is that attractive of an option in Friday's DFS slate. If you need to choose one, Noel would be the pick in a game that could see a lot of garbage time in the fourth quarter.
Salah Mejri suffered a hamstring injury on Saturday and will now miss Sunday's game against the Rockets. Nerlens Noel will fill in as he rested in the previous game.
Fantasy Impact
Dwight Powell and Dirk Nowitzki are locked in as the top frontcourt options after Harrison Barnes. Noel is a cheap punt play in DFS if you're in need of a cheap center but carries plenty of risk.
