Ryan Hollins

The Grizzlies waived C Ryan Hollins in advance of Monday's roster deadline. He had been competing with Jarnell Stokes and JaMychal Green for the final two roster spots.

Fantasy Impact

It looks like the Grizzlies elected to go with a more youthful bench by keeping Stokes and Green and waiving the 31-year-old Hollins. It is possible that Hollins catches on with another team, but his fantasy impact will be virtually nonexistent regardless of his future.

The Memphis Grizzlies have signed veteran center Ryan Hollins, according to Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports.

Fantasy Impact

Hollins is a poor offensive player and rebounder, so he should not be on anybody's fantasy radar. He provides the Grizzlies with frontcourt depth, and could take a few minutes away from Brandan Wright provided Hollins makes the team.
