Mo Williams has been waived by Sixers

Mo Williams has been claimed by the Sixers but then was waived shortly after in a cap move. It will be his fourth team in about two weeks for Williams going from the Cavaliers, traded to Hawks, traded to Nuggets and now claimed and waived by the Sixers.

Fantasy Impact

Williams isn't expected to play this season and is likely going to retire.

Mo Williams has been traded to the Nuggets

The Hawks will reportedly send Mo Williams and some cash to the Nuggets with the rights to Cenk Akyol (drafted in 2005 and yet to make his NBA debut) going back to Atlanta in exchange for Williams. It's unlikely Akyol will ever play a game in the NBA. Williams is going to be waived by Denver, and the 13-year-veteran may have already played his final NBA game. The actual corresponding move here for the Hawks will be signing Gary Neal to a 10-day contract.

Fantasy Impact

Williams had a solid career with multiple teams after being drafted by the Jazz. After a season with the Jazz, he spent time with the Bucks, Cavaliers, Clippers, back to Jazz for a season, Blazers, Hornets, and then back to the Cavaliers for his elusive NBA ring. He likely has played his last game in the NBA.

Mo Williams has been traded along with Mike Dunleavy and a protected 2019 first round pick to Atlanta for Kyle Korver.

Fantasy Impact

Williams hasn't played at all this season while recovering from a knee injury. Williams will likely be waived upon his arrival in Atlanta. Cleveland wanted to include him in a deal to get his salary off the books.

Mo Williams being shopped by the Cavaliers

The last thing we heard about Mo Williams was that he was going to retire. Well he still hasn't filed the necessary paperwork with the league to retire, so the Cavaliers are looking to deal him. The Cavaliers also haven't discussed a buyout agreement either and need a roster spot in order to sign a backup PG such as Mario Chalmers. The Cavs are willing to package Jordan McRae in a deal in order to get Williams off the books.

Fantasy Impact

For now, Kay Felder is the backup PG behind Kyrie Irving.

Mo Williams says he's "Coming Back" for the 2016-2017 season

Mo Williams also added #onemoreyear to he's tweet in regards to coming back for this coming 2016-17 season. It would be his 14th NBA season and is owed a guaranteed $2.2 million this season.

Fantasy Impact

Kyle Felder is the backup PG behind PG Kyrie Irving. Williams will need a few injuries to make fantasy relevance in 2016-17.
