Marcelo Huertas

Marcelo Huertas has been waived by the Rockets on Saturday. Huertas was acquired in the Tyler Ennis trade with the Lakers but Huertas could sign on a 10-day deal to close out the season.

Fantasy Impact

Huertas is unlikely to make any fantasy impact this season. The Rockets are all in this season and we will see plenty of Eric Gordon and Lou Williams.

Marcelo Huertas has been traded to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Tyler Ennis. The Rockets will immediately waive Huertas making him a free agent available to sign with another team.

Ennis joins a crowded backcourt in L.A. unless more trades occur before the deadline. Ennis is unlikely to make a fantasy impact this season.

Marcelo Huertas handed out a career-high nine assists vs. the Warriors, while scoring 10 points on 4-for-6 shooting with two rebounds, one steal and one block in 27 minutes off the bench.

Fantasy Impact

The experienced rookie had a great game is playing with great confidence lately. He's receiving more minutes due to Lou Williams (hamstring) out of commission, but he's still just a deep-league option while D'Angelo Russell is healthy.
