Mamadi Diakite was included in the trade that sent Mikal Bridges to the Knicks.

The Knicks appear to be sending Diakite with Bojan Bogdanovic, Shake Milton and multiple draft brooks to the Nets in exchange for Mikal Bridges. The trade hadn't been official as New York had to add salary to the deal in order to avoid being capped at the first apron.

Per Brett Siegel, Diakite was released by the Oklahoma City Thunder following the trade for KZ Okpala.

Fantasy Impact

This is a shame for the fantasy managers who thought the second year pro was starting to find a niche on his new team. Coming off of his third 10-day contract, the Thunder decided to move on from Diakite. In the 24 games played for his former club, the sophomore averaged 4.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks in 14.5 minutes per game.
