Luke Babbitt (coach's decision) didn't see the floor on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Babbitt rounded out his 2017-18 season with the Hawks and Heat averaging 5.2 points, 1.9 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.2 steals and 0.1 blocks in 14.3 minutes per game. The Nevada product becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer, but his fantasy relevance likely won't improve regardless of his destination.
Luke Babbitt racked up 12 points on 4-for-11 shooting (all threes), one rebound and a block in 26 minutes on Monday.
Fantasy Impact
Babbitt has seemingly taken the role of Wayne Ellington (quad) as the team's three-point marksman. The veteran is 9-for-27 from beyond the arc since rejoining Miami. If he holds onto his spot in the rotation when the team is at full strength, he could be worth a look in deep leagues for his long range presence. It would be best to hold off on scooping him up for now though.
Luke Babbitt contributed nine points (3-for-9 shooting, 3-for-8 from long-range), two rebounds, one assist and a steal in 25 minutes of run during Saturday's win.
Fantasy Impact
The absences of Tyler Johnson (quad), Wayne Ellington (quad) and Bam Adebayo (personal) had plenty to do with Babbitt's expanded role. The performance is certainly encouraging, but we can steer away from the veteran in all leagues and formats unless the backcourt situation somehow worsens.
Luke Babbitt posted six points on 2-for-3 shooting (all threes) in his nine minutes of work against Philadelphia.
Fantasy Impact
This was Babbitt's first action since rejoining Miami, therefore we can stay away from him in all leagues and formats unless head coach Erik Spoelstra decides to include him in the rotation post-All-Star break.
Luke Babbitt will come off the bench in his first game back with Miami on Friday.
Fantasy Impact
The veteran played in 37 outings during his brief stretch in Atlanta. He's currently shooting an impressive 44.1 percent from downtown, but his 15.4 minutes of action is unappealing. It's hard to imagine him earning enough of a boost in floor time to make him relevant outside of the deepest of leagues.
