Lucas Nogueira

Lucas Nogueira will be out once again on Saturday against the Sixers. Nogueira has missed the last 10 games due to a calf injury with Pascal Siakim and Jakob Poeltl picking up more minutes.

Fantasy Impact

Bebe wasn't much of a fantasy asset before going down with an injury and after Serge Ibaka, it's tough to judge the Raptors backcourt in fantasy. Valanciunas is a boom-or-bust option with Siakim and Poeltl in the mix.

Lucas Nogueira scored 17 points on 88 percent shooting from the field during the Raptors' 99-85 win over the Blazers on Monday night. Nogueira added nine boards, five blocks, two steals, two assists and one three-ball in his 30 minutes on the floor.

Fantasy Impact

Nogueira got his chance with both Serge Ibaka and Jonas Valanciunas out on Monday night, and Bebe did not disappoint, nearly putting up a double-double in the spot start. The big Brazilian even managed to hit a shot from deep while also swatting a whopping five shots on the night. Nogueira has been known as a shot blocker in the past so if he gets anymore significant time, that particular skill would be very tantalizing for fantasy owners.

Lucas Nogueira was designated as "DNP-coach's decision" in Tuesday night's win over the Bulls 122-120. The Raptors will head to Miami on Thursday for a prime time meeting with the Heat.

Fantasy Impact

Nogueira has rarely seen action recently. If he is not on Dwane Casey's DNP list, he sees very limited court time, usually situationally when Toronto needs a big body down low. Even if Serge Ibaka misses Thursday night's clash at Miami due to his brawl with Robin Lopez, don't expect Nogueira and his five points per game to help in your quest for fantasy success. Do not play him.

Nogueira hasn't seen the court recently, as head coach Dwane Casey has kept him off the floor in Toronto's last five contests. He's not even worth a look in any fantasy format and obviously should be kept out of your DFS lneups.

Fantasy Impact

Serge Ibaka, Patrick Patterson and Jonas Valanciunas continue to see a good chunk of the Raptors' front court minutes. When Nogueira does manage to see time, he is unproductive. Continue to sit him going forward.
