Perkins could be involved in a LeBron James deal as Perkins is a friend of James. His fantasy value is long gone. He's more of a locker room presence.

Kendrick Perkins made his debut for the Cavaliers in the final regular season game on Wednesday against the Knicks. He played 15 minutes and scored three points while adding two assists, one board, and one steal.

Fantasy Impact

Perkins is also not a fantasy option as Zizic is not also in the playoff series against the Pacers. Perkins is insurance if anything happens to Love and brings a veteran presence in the locker room.

Kendrick Perkins will re-join the Cavaliers to fill their final playoff spot before the end of the regular season. Perkins was with the team in the preseason but has played in the G-League ever since. Perkins will be depth behind Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love.

There's almost no way Perkins provides more than depth for the Cavaliers unless something happened to both Love and Thompson. Perkins is chasing another ring before he hangs up his sneakers.
