Kendall Marshall has been waived by the Bucks

Kendall Marshall has been waived by the Bucks on Sunday. The Bucks will roll with Malcolm Brogdon and Matthew Dellavedova at the point. Gary Payton II is on the roster bubble.

Fantasy Impact

Marshall could find a new home with a guard needy team or play overseas this season. Brogdon is the point guard to own in Milwaukee and should be able to improve on his rookie numbers.

Kendall Marshall will join the Bucks camp looking for a shot to sign on with the team as a backup point guard. Marshall could be in line for third-string duties if signed.

Fantasy Impact

Kendall Marshall scores his season high in losing effort

Kendall Marshall managed eight points in 18 minutes of work. He shot 3-of-7 from the floor (0-for-2 from the free throw line) and 2-of-2 at the free throw line. Marshall also threw in four assists and two rebounds, but he also turned the ball over three times.

Fantasy Impact

This was only Marshall's fifth game of the season, but he currently finds himself at the head of a three-man point guard committee. He has not yet been given the minutes to do serious damage so he should not be rostered in any league.

Kendall Marshall to sign with 76ers

Free agent point guard Kendall Marshall is finalizing a multi-year agreement with the 76ers. Marshall is coming off a torn ACL he suffered on January 15, but is expected to be ready at the start of training camp. The 6'4" guard averaged 4.2 points and 3.1 assists in 28 games with Milwaukee last season.

Fantasy Impact

Philadelphia's point guard situation is atrocious with Tony Wroten getting the stamp of approval recently. Marshall has proven to be a reliable shooter and distributor. He was 39 percent from three with 8.8 assists per game in 2013-14 in 45 starts with the Lakers. While he may be brought on slowly, due to the knee injury, Marshall can easily take charge of the 76ers point guard rotation by mid-season. He is definitely a good choice for a late-round pick in most fantasy leagues.
