Justin James got going early and often, finishing with 31 points (12-17 FG, 4-5 3PT, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists, and one steal.
Fantasy Impact
The game comes out of nowhere for James. He had seen just 14 and 18 minutes in his last two games respectively, but with C Richaun Holmes injured and the team in need for a scoring punch, James got the call. It's hard to imagine the Kings not sticking with James in their game on Friday as a scorer off the bench at the very least.
Albeit in a 49 point blowout, Justin James made his time on the court worthwhile finishing with 16 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 3PT, 3-4 FT).
Fantasy Impact
The 16 points marks a career high for the second-year Wyoming product. While he certainly has the scoring ability to eventually earn quality minutes down the road, this showing was more of a product of a blowout loss rather than a change in the rotation. Keep James out of lineups until he sees consistent playing time in close contests.
Kings' forward Justin James has fully recovered from a knee injury that kept him out of games earlier in the season.
Fantasy Impact
James has rarely played a significant role in any of the Kings' games this season. This may be an opportunity for James though, as Sacramento has been dismantled by injury and COVID-19. James should have a huge increase in minutes with Harrison Barnes ruled out. James could be a great value play in daily fantasy when the season resumes.
Justin James finished with 14 points (6-for-14 FG, 2-for-4 3Pt, 0-for-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 33 minutes of action off the bench as Bogan Bogdanovic was out with a hamstring injury.
Fantasy Impact
James is a solid option for daily value play if and only if Bogdanovic is out again with a hamstring injury.
Justin James went for two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and a block across three minutes in the Kings' 120-116 win over the Suns on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
James appeared in his first game since Nov. 3 after being recalled from the G League last week. He's back for insurance purposes with De'Aaron Fox out of action for a couple more weeks, but James is unlikely to see more than a handful of minutes when he gets on the court.
