Justin Hamilton has agreed to terms with the Beijing Shougang Ducks. Hamilton was traded to the Raptors for DeMarre Carroll but was waived shortly after. Hamilton could return in the future to the NBA.

Hamilton showed promise backing up Brook Lopez in Brooklyn last season but the Nets added Andrew Nicholson, Quincy Acy and Trevor Booker.

In his previous game, he only played eight minutes so this explosion came out of nowhere. He has shown the touch from outside so the two three-pointers wasn't a surprise. For the season, he's averaging 6.8 points and 0.9 triples. He's not worth a pickup unless Brook Lopez gets shut down.

Justin Hamilton will likely play on Saturday against the Blazers after missing the last game with an illness. Hamilton will return to backup Brook Lopez.

Fantasy Impact

Lopez played only 29 minutes on Friday in the first of a back-to-back set so it seems unlikely he will sit. Even so, Hamilton gets a favorable matchup against the Blazers so he could be worth a sneaky DFS play.
