Jaylen Hoard recorded 27 points (13-23 FG, 1-4 3PT), 17 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 47 minutes in Friday's loss to the Lakers.
Fantasy Impact
With the Thunder only playing six players, Hoard was able to log heavy minutes and record his third straight 20 plus point game. The rookie has also been a rebounding machine with 67 total rebounds in his last five games. If the Thunder continue to basically not have a bench on Sunday against the Clippers, Hoard will continue to see an expanded role.
Jaylen Hoard put up 23 points (8-17 FG, 5-8 3PT, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, three assists, a block, and a steal in the loss to Utah.
Fantasy Impact
Hoard has stepped up as of late for the shorthanded Thunder. He should continue seeing this kind of usage as the Thunder close their season.
Jaylen Hoard recorded 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-3 3PT, 0-2 FT), 20 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in 40 minutes in Friday's loss to the Pistons.
Fantasy Impact
Hoard was called up from the G-League in place of Aleksej Pokusevski who was a late scratch due to an illness. The Wake Forest product made quite the impact in his first career start going for a 20 rebound double-double. If Pokusevski remains out when the Thunder host the Suns on Sunday, Hoard may see plenty of minutes. However, the 23-year-old will need to produce in a bigger sample size before you can trust him in your lineup.
Thunder forward Jaylen Hoard scores 13 points in Wednesday's 113-102 loss to the Hornets.
Fantasy Impact
Wednesday was Hoard's second game this season, where he played 24 minutes. With the Thunder seemingly open to trying new things in their system, Hoard could be a player they want to work in for the remainder of the season. This is two straight outings with north of 20 minutes played. He may not be on many fantasy managers' radars right now, but it's worth monitoring Hoard's progress as we move through the rest of the year.
