Nelson saw his highest minute total since joining Detroit in early February but was unable to score any points. The backup point guard does not hold any fantasy value for the time being.

Nelson seems to be fitting in nicely as the Pistons number two point guard for the time being. His presence on the team definitely decreases the value of Dwight Buycks and Langston Galloway, who have seen their minutes dry up since Nelson came to town.

According to sources, the Bulls have traded Jameer Nelson to the Pistons in exchange for Willie Reed.

Nelson is on the move for the second time in the last week, this time to fill a backup PG role with the Pistons. He should see some minutes behind Ish Smith until Reggie Jackson returns. His arrival likely pushes Langston Galloway and Dwight Buycks further out of the rotation. Nelson is only worth owning in very deep leagues or in DFS if Smith misses any time.

Jameer Nelson has been traded to the Bulls on Thursday in exchange for Nikola Mirotic. Nelson will be moved along with Tony Allen and Omer Asik. It's possible that the Bulls release one or more of these players.

Fantasy Impact

Nelson gets traded to a poor situation with Jerian Grant starting with Kris Dunn out. Dunn is the PG of the future and Nelson won't be a fantasy option.
