Pacers forward JaKarr Sampson (health and safety protocols) is out of Saturday's matchup against the Knicks.
Fantasy Impact
Sampson is currently not with the team but "will soon be" per sources. Teammates Domantas Sabonis and Doug McDermott are likely to get a lot of playing time at the power forward position this evening.
Pacers forward JaKarr Sampson (health and safety protocols) is questionable for Friday's matchup against the Celtics.
Fantasy Impact
Sampson's status is worth monitoring as we get closer to tip-off.
JaKarr Sampson totaled three points (1-2FG, 0-1 3PT, 1-2 FT) and three rebounds in five minutes in the Pacers' 130-110 loss to the Bucks on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Sampson was able to collect three rebounds in the Pacers' blowout loss to the Bucks. Sampson has been a healthy scratch in the past; however, he found himself some time given the Bucks unsurmountable lead. Sampson does not warrant any fantasy consideration at this time.
JaKarr Sampson is out against the Clippers due to dealing with a back injury.
Fantasy Impact
In place of Sampson, look for Bitadze to potentially step-into a larger role. However, with this being his first action since recovering from a right ankle sprain, it wouldn’t be wise to think that he would put up a line that would significantly if at all, bring a winning dynamic to your lineups. Instead, look for the Pacers to get creative in addressing the position and skill gap with Myles Turner and Sampson out. Trusted Doug McDermott and Justin Holiday have been viable options in the past and should continue tonight. Both Holiday and McDermott have produced nearly identical stats so far this season; however, Holiday has been more efficient and has a tad more production in multiple statistical categories. Both are worth taking a chance on as a cheap flier in DFS formats.
JaKarr Sampson registered zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3PT) and one rebound across seven minutes in Sunday's 127-81 loss to the Raptors.
Fantasy Impact
Sampson saw game-action for the first since February 1st and logged seven minutes in Sunday's blowout loss. He is averaging 4.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 0.2 assists, 0.3 steals and 0.4 blocks across 19 games this year. Sampson is not on the fantasy radar and should be left on the waiver wire in all league formats. The Pacers next scheduled game is Tuesday, home against the Hornets.
