Donald Sloan has been waived by Wizards

Donald Sloan has been waived by the Wizards. With Tim Frazier healthy, Sloan wasn't going to make the roster. Carrik Felix makes the roster.

Fantasy Impact

Frazier is the backup for star John Wall who is a solid second-round pick in fantasy leagues. The Wizards starting five are all solid plays.

Donald Sloan agrees to a one-year deal with the Wizards

Donald Sloan agrees to a one-year deal with the Wizards. Sloan missed last season after spending the previous season with the Nets. The only hope for him is the desperate need for a backup point guard behind John Wall. He would have to beat out Tim Frazier for minutes.

Fantasy Impact

Frazier seems to be locked into the backup point guard role after being acquired via trade from the Pelicans. If Wall went down, a platoon approach could include Sloan.

Donald Sloan scores zero points in 27 minutes

Sloan missed all five shot attempts. He finished with zero points, six assists and three rebounds.

Fantasy Impact

Sloan continues to start for the Nets. In his last five games, he has averaged nearly 27 minutes a game. However, he continues to do nothing with the playing time with averages of 7.0 points, 4.8 assists and 0.8 steals. The time share with Shane Larken doesn't help him, and Sloan deserves to stay in the waiver wire of most leagues.

Donald Sloan nearly triple doubles

Sloan notched 34 minutes, and made the most of his playing time. He finished with 14 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and one steal.

Fantasy Impact

Although Sloan is the starter at point for the Nets, he will continue to split the point guard duties with Shane Larkin. He had a great game, but it was against the porous defense of the Philadelphia 76ers. Still, Sloan is a decent fourth point guard option for fantasy teams.

Donald Sloan continues double digit streak

For the fourth game in a row, Sloan scored in double digits with 10 points in Los Angeles. He also had three rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Fantasy Impact

With Johnson gone, Sloan has taken more of a playmaker role for Brooklyn. He has averaged 11.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.4 assists in his last five games. He will continue to share point guard duties with Shane Larkin, but he's a decent option at the one for fantasy owners.
