Derrick Williams played well in Monday's win over the Bucks. Williams scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds while coming off the bench. Williams shot an efficient 5-of-7 while adding two three-pointers. Williams committed two turnovers in 27 minutes.

Williams will continue to see extended run while Kevin Love is out and he actually outplayed Channing Frye who was limited to just 14 minutes. The arrival of Andrew Bogut would seriously hurt his daily potential.

He provides solid depth but the Cavaliers are expected to add someone at the deadline via a trade or free agency.

The Cavaliers worked out Larry Sanders on Wednesday and if he signed with the team, that wouldn't be good news for Williams. However, LeBron James has been begging for another guard so a trade for guard or signing Mario Chalmers makes more sense. Either way, Williams can be left on the wire.
Derrick Williams will sign another 10-day contract and then is expected to sign on for the rest of the season when that second 10-day contract expires. Williams has played well off the bench and has earned LeBron James' trust.

With Kevin Love out, Derrick Williams and Channing Frye will have to step up in his absence. Frye will likely continue to start but can be hot and cold. Williams is still worth a look in deeper leagues and both players are cheap DFS plays.
