Walton averaged 2.0 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per contest over 26 games between the Clippers and Pistons in 2019-2020. He'll fill a reserve role in Philly's backcourt and won't hold much fantasy value unless there is an injury in front of him on the depth chart.

In a 115-98 loss to the Nuggets on Tuesday, Derrick Walton Jr. scored no points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3PT), (4-9 FG, 4-9 3PT, 2-4 FT), dished out one assist, and had one steal in only six minutes.

Walton Jr.'s minutes are very minimal for his squad, so he simply doesn't have any fantasy value whatsoever. He should be left in all fantasy leagues' free agent pools.

The G League regular season concluded on Saturday as did Walton Jr.'s two-way contract. This allows him to stay with Miami for the remainder of the NBA regular season. The rookie unfortunately still isn't on the fantasy radar in any league or format right now, but could become a sneaky DFS play if starters are rested in the final few games.
