Availability
Daniel Gafford has been listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Heat.
Fantasy Impact
If Gafford is sidelined, it likely wouldn't impact the Mavericks rotation for fantasy managers outside of Dereck Lively II potentially taking on some more minutes.
Daniel Gafford led the Mavericks bench attack Saturday night, scoring 22 points (9-10 FG, 4-4 FT) while also grabbing seven rebounds, blocking three shots, dishing out one assist, and recording one steal in a 110-93 win over the Spurs.
Fantasy Impact
Gafford continues a solid stretch on both ends of the floor, grabbing at least five rebounds and scoring at least 10 points in each of the last five games. The 26-year-old has fit right in as a reliable option no matter his role in the Dallas rotation, averaging 12.8 points and 6.1 rebounds per game to go along with an 18.5% usage rate so far this season.
Gafford scored 14 points and four rebounds in 20 minutes of play on Tuesday. He also had one assist, one steal, and one block in the win.
Fantasy Impact
Gafford seems to be ceding time to second-year player Derek Lively, which limits his upside. His role could continue to change as the year evolves, and he may lose more fantasy value if Lively continues to play well and increases his playing time.
Daniel Gafford is questionable for Friday's game against the Clippers.
Fantasy Impact
Gafford missed practice on Thursday after only playing nine minutes in Tuesday's win. Dereck Lively should continue to take on a big role off the bench regardless of if Gafford is active or not.
Daniel Gafford has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Thunder.
Fantasy Impact
Gafford and Maxi Kleber have both been ruled out with Dallas having nothing to play for. Dwight Powell should see the court more as a result.
