Damjan Rudez re-signs with Magic

Damjan Rudez has re-signed with the Magic on Thursday after testing the free-agent market. Rudez seems to be a camp body as the team is loaded with 19 players and newcomers Jonathan Simmons and Arron Afflalo.

Fantasy Impact

Rudez will have to make an impact in camp to even sniff the roster this season. He could spend time in the affiliate league unless the team moves Mario Herzonja.

Damjan Rudez scores eight points versus Clippers

Damjan Rudez scored eight points (3-for-3 field goals) in 18 minutes off the bench in a 108-102 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night.

Fantasy Impact

Rudez earned playing time after Karl-Anthony Towns got into foul trouble early. His shooting sparked the Timberwolves offense in the first half. Rudez has only played in 19 games for the Wolves this season.

Damjan Rudez scores 11 points in 22 minutes against the Suns

Damjan Rudez came off the bench and sunk 4-of-6 field goal attempts, including three shots from downtown, and finished with 11 points and an assist in 22 minutes.

Fantasy Impact

Rudez has been seeing more minutes as the Wolves tinker with their rotations. He's a capable three point shooter, but his other counting stats are underwhelming. He's currently a min-salary punt play in DFS and that's about it at the moment.

Damjan Rudez starts, scores 17 in win

Damjan Rudez started in place of C.J. MIles on Tuesday night and perfomed well, going 6-8 from the field for 17 points to go along with five assists in 27 minutes of action.

Fantasy Impact

Rudez rarely starts but has been impressive when given the opportunity. Still, his fantasy value is directly tied to the health of the Pacers' starters, particularly C.J. Miles. It wouldn't be surprising to see Frank Vogel give him a few more spot starts down the stretch though.

Damjan Rudez scores 18 points out of nowhere

Damjan Rudez helped the Pacers snap a seven-game losing spree with his 18 points (7-of-10), four triples, three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 29 minutes off the bench.

Fantasy Impact

The Rookie ignited the fourth quarter Pacer comeback with a career-high 18 points out of seemingly nowhere. After a string of DNP-CDs, Rudez is now averaging 17 minutes per game in January. Unfortunately, this limited playing time will not be able to catapult Rudez into fantasy relevance.
