Villanueva is not afraid to let it fly, as shown by his 13 shot attempts in 23 minutes. If Chandler and Ellis miss Wednesday's game, as expected, Villanueva will most likely see 20 plus minutes of action.

Mavericks reserve forward Charlie Villanueva posted his season high in points for the second game in a row Tuesday. After dropping 14 on Monday, Villanueva followed it up with 18 Tuesday against the Suns. He hit four three-pointers and grabbed four rebounds in 20 minutes on the floor.

Villanueva is getting a little more action, since the Mavs traded Brandan Wright. Without a solid reserve big man, Villanueva is getting an opportunity for more playing time. With the rumors of Dallas adding Josh Smith or Jermaine O'Neal, it is obvious they are looking for a big man off the bench. Villanueva may get a few more games of fantasy relevance, only in the deepest of leagues though, until Dallas inevitably adds a veteran forward.
